I have always conceived the Art of Makeup as another medium of art application. Whether makeup is being applied to the face to create enhanced beauty or to the body, both creates an illusion of possibilities. Unfortunately, makeup application comes with its trials and errors when working with changing textures, oils, and applications on the models or clients.

I knew that because this art not only can harm the individual but put them in danger if not applied correctly and effectively. I decided to become a certified Makeup Artist at the London School of Beauty and Makeup. Here I had the amazing opportunities to work directly under the head makeup artist at that time of Dior, Cosmetics and learn from leading industry artists as well.

It was important for me to learn not only the techniques and tricks of the trade but sanitation and cleanliness of my kit, products, and models’ safety. Since then I have expanded my 15-year resume from Print, TV, Runway to Bridal experience, including…

  • Collaborated with photographers to create unique looks for print publications, along with designers and models for runway productions.
  • Worked with producers, directors and actors on TV sets to create flawless makeup applications.
  • Researched makeup trends to learn about new products and techniques by using YouTube, beauty blogs and magazines.
  • Attended workshops and classes to remain current on hair products and styles to employ latest techniques and treatments.
  • Maintained updated knowledge of industry products and trends.
  • Handled basic administrative tasks, such as booking, cancelling and rescheduling client’s appointments.
